Scholarship Essay

The Conductors Retreat at Medomak is able to offer a limited number of partial need-based scholarships. To apply for a scholarship, submit an additional essay which includes your statement of need, and presents your your case for financial support. Though not a requirement, scholarship applicants may attach, or submit by mail, relevant documents that may be helpful to those who will be making scholarship decisions.

William Grant Still Scholarship

To apply for the William Grant Still Scholarship, which supports the participation of five Black conductors, please submit a statement of your aspirations and intentions as a conductor. What is important to you, and what do you intend to achieve through your work as a conductor?
